Thank You
Thank you so much to everyone who came out to the humcreative.com launch party last night. It was an amazing reward to celebrate with all of our best friends, and a treat to make new ones. I was so happy to see people leaving with the Hum Dog posters Drew designed, and tearing off business cards.
I was especially excited to celebrate the growing Hum Creative team. Just two years ago I was working by myself, daydreaming of starting a studio. I imagined my dream-team countless times, but each new member of Hum has brought so much more to the group than I ever could have imagined. Alisa Cohen, Drew Hamlet, Guthrie Lonergan, and Jordan Butcher are each endlessly talented and inspiring. I am truly honored that they’ve chosen to work with me, and they make Hum better every day. I’m so grateful.
We’ve been lucky to have Chelsea Xavier and Derek Vander Griend as studio interns. These two have helped with every project the studio has seen for the past year. They also cut out hundreds of tattoos for the party without a single complaint. They deserve a great big thank you.
We’ve also had a lot of help over the last few months. Sarah & Chris from We Are The Rhoads generously took the studio photos on our new site, including one of our office pup (my fav).
Pinyadayada and Hens & Chicks helped us make Sole Repair festive last night, and The Rhoads set up one of their smilebooths, which we’ll be posting pics from soon!
And of course, I can’t thank my husband Nick Harmer enough for taking great shots of the party. I’m loving flipping through all the photos from the evening.
A great party is made by great guests. Thank you all for coming!!
